Day 1 – Cochin – Munnar Arrival at Cochin. Departure to Munnar. Overnight will be at Munnar. ![]() Munnar is a hill resort ideal for a relaxing holiday away from the tropical lowlands. The tea gardens and cardamom plantations give Munnar a beautiful look. Anai Mudi, the highest peak in South India is in these hills. The Munnar - Kodaikanal (another hill resort) road is believed to be the steepest road in South-East Asia. Day 2 – Munnar Full Day Sightseeing in Munnar. Overnight will be at Munnar. Day 3 – Munnar – Periyar Departure to Periyar. Overnight will be at Periyar. Periyar (also known as Thekkady) is a park where one can witness playful elephants, whose population is currently around 800. Elephant in Periyar make excellent wildlife watching. The population of tigers is also increasing appreciably. The terrain ranges from hilly to flat grassland areas at the edges of the lakes. The vegetation is of moist deciduous type. Elephant in Periyar remain the key attraction. Day 4 – Periyar ![]() Full Day Sightseeing in Periyar. Overnight will be at Periyar. Day 5 – Periyar – Kumarakom Departure to Kumarakom. We will start cruising at night 12 to Allapey. Overnight will be in houseboat. Kumarakom is a tourist village in Kottayam district, Kerala, India. It is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake in Kerala. Kumarakom is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. It is a unique experience that will beckon the visitors time and time again as there are several activities for visitors. Allapey is called the Venice of the East due to the extensive canal network here. Every year the famous snake boat race is held here. Day 6 – Alleppey – Cochin – Mumbai - Home Arrival at Allapey at 9 in the morning. Departure to Mumbai via Cochin. The way back to home.
